She’s a senior and who cannot wait to head off to college out of state. She’s one of the editors-in-chief of this newspaper and it’s one of her pride and joys. She also enjoys watching sports and shows on TV, reading, hanging out with friends, photography, and blogging. Her favorite colors are red and navy blue and her favorite books are The Hunger Games trilogy.

Grace P. ’12

Grace is a senior at Ursuline who is extremely excited to head off to college up north, hopefully in D.C. She loves writing and journalism, and is proud to be one of the editors in chief of this newspaper. In her spare time she likes to draw, paint, write, read, and play piano and guitar. She loves to read the works of Vonnegut, Palahniuk, and Rumi.

Pia is a senior at Ursuline and looking forward to attending college next fall. She is student body secretary and president of the Human Rights Club, which specializes in bringing awareness to the school on many local and global issues regarding human rights. Cecilia, as an Ursuline senior, constantly searches for ways to put off schoolwork and college apps. So far, she has found creative writing, Neopets, eating, and aimless web-browsing to the be the most successful– but the search is not yet over. Cecilia enjoys puns, good food, techno music, people watching, and not-safe-for-work conversations.

Allison is a senior and this is her first year on the newspaper staff. She enjoys reading, running, and hanging out friends during her free time. She is on the Varsity Track and Cross Country team and she is an Ambassador at Ursuline Academy. Allison has not decided what college to attend next year but she is thinking of majoring in business with a track into pre-law.

Haley is a senior at Ursuline and her favorite things about Ursuline are intramurals and class retreats. Her hobbies are dancing and writing, and one day she dreams of publishing a Christian poetry book. She doesn’t know for sure what the future has in store for her, as she has thought about being anything from a doctor to a lawyer to a theology professor at a university. She has loved her time at Ursuline and the wonderful friends she has made.

Anne Marie B. is a senior at Ursuline Academy. She enjoys theater and playing softball, and recently acted in the fall production of The Government Inspector. Outside of school, she works at a movie theater, hangs out with her friends, and occasionally bakes cookies when her sister complains that she is not helping.

Hannah is a senior at Ursuline and loves being on the Bear Facts staff. She is in the middle of a college search that has thus far produced no results, but she is, for some reason, confident that it will all magically work out. She is thinking about going into medicine or journalism. Hannah enjoys movies, playing the piano, pretending that she doesn’t have any work to do, and finding other people who are ginger like she is.

Andrea is a junior at Ursuline Academy, who loves pretending to be a real-life journalist on the Bear Facts staff. When she isn’t occupied with all things British, she enjoys debating in Model United Nations, leading the French Club, and dancing in the school musical. After high school, she plans to succeed as a famous journalist who marries a New York socialite.

Geneva, a junior at Ursuline Academy, is the youngest staff member for Bear Facts and can usually be spotted by her unusual laugh. In her free time, she participates in the YLC Club as well as being an officer for the Permaculture Club. At night she can usually be found at home doing last minute homework or reading Harry Potter in bed.

Sam is a junior at Ursuline Academy who is most commonly found in the library, engaged in a book. Participating in volleyball, National Honor Society and Bear Faithful Club, she enjoys fostering school spirit amongst her Ursuline sisters. Ana is a sophomore at Ursuline Academy, and is the main sports writer for UA Bear Facts. Ana participates in choir and YLC and volunteers at her church as a small group leader. She spends her free time listening to her favorite band, the Strokes, and hopes to see them in concert soon. She also enjoys reading and hanging out with her best friend Kate.
