If you’re looking for ways to celebrate this year’s holiday season in Dallas, you’re in the right place!
During Christmas time, Dallas comes alive with tons of festive activities and events. Let’s take a look at just a few of the most popular ones.
The annual Dallas Christmas Parade is one of Dallas’ many most popular Christmas events.
The parade takes place on Commerce Street near the Adolphus Hotel in downtown Dallas on December 7 from 7-9a.m. this year.

The parade is open to the public to come and watch for free. However, if you want to buy seats, prices can range from $30-100 depending on how good you want your seats to be.
The parade features marching bands, dancers and even Santa Claus himself!
It’s Dallas’ largest one-day outdoor event that includes all the holiday staples!

Another popular Christmas event to visit during this holiday season is ice skating at the Galleria.

The Galleria is a popular shopping mall that features a year-round skating rink which becomes even more popular and festive during the holiday season.
Prices range from $13-18 per person. Skate rental is usually around $5.
“During Christmas Time, this really is one of the coolest places in the city with that big tree in the middle of the rink,” according to Chris Greene in a recent online review.
Enchant Christmas is another popular holiday event.
This event takes place in Fair Park, Dallas, on December 14 at 8 a.m. this year.
The park features a massive magical Christmas light maze, an ice-skating trail, a Christmas market, food trucks, snow games, Christmas caroling and more!
Prices for the standard experience range from $20 to $35 for adults, with discounts for seniors and kids over 2.
This is one of the best places to see lights in Dallas, Texas.

Last but not least, one of the most popular things to do during Christmas in Dallas is to watch the miniature trains.
This event takes place at the NorthPark Shopping Mall in Dallas.
The exhibit is open for six weeks during the holiday season every year from mid-November to early January.
The cost to watch the trains at NorthPark is $12 for adults, $7 for children and $5 for seniors. Children under the age of 2 receive free admission.
Viewers can watch the trains run from West Coast to East Coast through tunnels, canyons and more!
It is the largest miniature train display in Texas, it’s perfect for any train enthusiast or anyone who loves festive displays.
